We sailed out in a cold and beautiful weather from Reykjavík harbour this afternoon. We sailed for a long time without seeing any signs of the whales. After a long search we finally saw lot of seabirds so we decided to search there. No luck there but a nice surprise when a gannet came flying in front of the boat, haven't seen the gannets for a while now. We sailed little further but suddenly a passenger shouted there and a minke whale surfaced twice in front of the boat. The second time it surfaced we could take a good look at it. But after that it swam away and we did not find it again. So a day with a beautiful weather, a gannet and a minke whale.
