Tour at 13:00

Once again a beautiful tour at sea. The wind had calmed down a little but it was still quite rough. It took us a little longer to find the Minke Whales on this tour but we found them nonetheless. One even surfaced just 10meters from our boat it was incredible. We watched these Minkes for a while and even saw some Harbour Porpoises briefly which was really nice. We went for a little circle in the bay to see if any other species were around but unfortunately none were. We ended the tour back with the Minkes and what an end we had. One Minke surfaced just 10 meters from us and you could see it travelling just beneath the waters surface, showing off its white patches on the pectoral fins and pointed snout. Fantastic ending!!

Tour at 09:00

Beautiful tour today even though there was some residual wind left over from yesterday which made it a little bumpy at times but sun was out and visibility was great. We saw White-beaked Dolphins, two adults with their calves. They were surfacing only a couple of meters from our boat and enjoying the wakes our boat was making too. Very nice encounter. Once leaving the dolphins we sailed for another 20 minutes or so before we came to an area were there were at least 2 Minke Whales which surfaced many times and also really enjoying the swells of the ocean. Great tour!!

Birds seen on todays tour include; Gannets, Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Gulls, Eider Ducks and Shags.
