Tour at 17:00
A really nice sunny tour! We spotted a few Harbour Porpoises twice throughout the trip, once one even came and swam just a couple of metres from the boat and we could see it just under the surface!! We were able to observe 2 Minke whales very well and spotted one or two in addition.
Tour at 13:00
Even better light conditions, sea still flat, it just was drizzling for a short while. We sailed out to the whales first. We still had a very good number of Minkes out there, even more than in the morning in fact we had more than 10 Minkes and it was even possible to see them surfacing very close to shore.
Tour at 9:00
Very nice weather today. The sea had a greenish colour, transparent waters and flat. Excellent to spot whales. In fact, we sailed out in Faxaflói bay and we had at least 6 different Minke whales, they were surfacing everywhere. First a couple of them, which is very rare, then single animals and to end up the tour a big Minke surfacing very close.
