Tour at 17:00
Again the sea was lovely and calm and the weather was great. We found two great areas out on the bay where there were lots of feeding birds and very many Minke whales. We were able to switch off the engines for quite a long time and just listen to the wildlife out there! After we had stayed with the Minkes for a while, we found a group of white-beaked dolphins which were really great to watch. A really nice day out on the bay! :)
Tour at 13:00
The weather remained really nice and we set off again. We stopped at Akurey (puffin island) at the beginning of the tour and then headed out to look for the whales. We started by looking at a group of white-beaked dolphins, and then throughout the tour we saw quite a few Minke whales again (even one lunge feeding at the surface). We also found the Humpback whale again which was great :)
Tour at 9:00
We were lucky today and had lovely weather and nice calm sea! We spotted a Humpback whale early on in the tour and were able to follow it for a while, but we also spotted quite a few Minke whales throughout the tour. A really successful trip!
