Unfortunately we weren't as lucky as our previous trips. We only spotted a harbour porpoise once, but hardly anyone saw it :( We hope our passengers can join us for a complimentary tour as soon as possible!!

On this afternoontour the whales where again far out in the Faxaflói-bay and we went to an area where we actually never go to search for whales. And it was it worth! After a long time we spotted a minke whale! Soon after we left it, the captain said, that he spotted a huge blow. We found the whale to whom the blow belonged and got a super chance to watch a humpback whale! It breached once and was a very curios one. It approched our boat, we turned off the engine and the whale came even closer. It stayed only five meters away from the boat and swam right under the surface around us. It surely watched us and tried to check out what stranges kind of creature the red boat would be. It seemes we were to strange for it because after watching us it came once up to breath and dissapeared!
Tour at 9:00
This tour ended or better started in an unexpected way. The last days the whales have been far out in the Faxaflói-bay, but this morning, we just started to search when all in the sudden a black back and a dorsal fin appeared, only 100 meters away from the boat. We spotted a minke whale which has been rather rare the last days. And even better, it was in a very good "whale-watching-mood". It surfaced several times around the boat and we got a lot of good opportunities to watch it.
