Report from Hafsúlan: Again, we went out from Reykjavík on our afternoon tour in search for cetaceans. The wind had picked up a little since this morning and the swell was a little higher than this morning, but we could still enjoy the sun on our faces. It took quite a while until we finally spotted a minke whale, but it was an elusive individual that we only saw once. We kept searching and as we were already heading back to the harbour, we encountered a pod of white-beaked dolphins again. We were able to see seem surface a few times before they disappeared, so we could only spent a few minutes with them. As we were getting closer to the harbour, we spotted another minke whale. However, like the one we had encountered earlier, we only saw it twice. Unfortunately, we only saw the animals on this tour a few minutes and not all our passengers could see them. That's why we offered complimentary tickets for another free tour with us that are valid for the next two years.

Report from Hafsúlan: We went out from Reykjavík this morning and encountered a small pod of white-beaked dolphins with four individuals after ca. one hour of relatively smooth sailing. They travelled next to our boat and also crossed our path right in front of our boat, so that everyone got a good look on the animals. After half an hour we decided to say goodbye to the dolphins and search for other cetaceans. We headed further out into Faxaflói before heading back to Reykjavík but did not find more cetaceans on our way back.
