Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan and Elding: As we sailed this afternoon we were greeted by blue sky and sunshine! This kept changing throughout the tour as we sailed through sun, then hail, then sun. On the way out we came across a huge flock of seabirds including Fulmar, Kittiwakes and Northern Gannets but none of the birds seemed to be feeding. There were no whales or dolphins amongst the birds so we kept searching, it took us quite a while to finally find something. But we eventually found a Humpback Whale that was on its own and likely feeding. It was a little unpredictable but we still managed to watch it diving and throwing its fluke into the air as it did. And then on the way back to Reykjavík we found a pod of White-Beaked Dolphins, they didn´t stick around for long but we still got to have a look at a second species. Our hard searching paid off with getting to see two species today!
