Tour at 13:00
Report from Hafsúlan: The sailing today was the smoothest that it has been in a long time, after days of rough sea it changed today and became very calm. It made for a very comfortable and relaxing journey out of Reykjavík as we headed toward Arkranes and then further offshore in search of whales. The bird life today was surprisingly quiet, though a number of Northern Gannets circling the boat at least made for a spectacle. The lack of birds in the bay seemed to be a sign that there was a lack of food currently in the water and as such we didn´t spot any cetaceans on our tour today. We handed out complimentary tickets at the end of the tour so everyone could try again in the future.
