Tour at 09:00

Report from Eldey: We go a lot of rain, wind and white beaked dolphins today. The first dolphins of the tour were very close to land so we had only sailed for a little more than 20 minutes when we spotted them. They were scattered over a big are, at least 5-6 individuals. They spent a long time underwater so it was at some point difficult to follow them but they sometimes came right next to us so we got a good look at them. We lost them after a while so we kept on going further out on the bay. We saw big splashes in distance and saw this was another pod of white beaked dolphins but this time we saw them breaching. After they stopped breaching they got elusive and we lost them. While searching for the dolphins one of our crew members spotted a minke whale but unfortunately it was not less elusive than the dolphins we never saw it again. The tour ended with a good show of pod of 5-6 white beaked dolphins that stayed around our boat for long time. It was easy to follow these dolphins and this time it was rather easy to photograph. We couldn't ask for a better end for our tour.
