Status: RUNNING

We are sailing out from Reykjavik Harbour today. The forecast predicts some wind from the north and we will experience swells.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey:  The visibility over they bay was great and the mountains looked amazing with the orange lights from the low sun. We didnt see any big flocks of sea birds today, only one and one bird was gliding in the strong winds. After about two hours we saw a pod of 3-4 harbour porpoises traveling past our boat. We only saw them surfacing few times before we lost sights of them. Thirty minutes later passengers on board spotted more animals further from the boat, we turned around in hope to get a better look and soon realized these were also harbour porpoises. This pod was similar size as the previous one and unfortunately behaved in the same elusive way. Therefor not many of our passengers were able to spot them.  This ended out to be our only sightings on the tour and for that reason we offered everyone new whale watching tickets in hope they will see whales or dolphins on another tour with us.
