Tour at 13:00
Report from Eldey: The weather was much better on this afternoons tour where we even saw some breaks of sunshine through the clouds. After less than 30 minutes we saw our first pod of white-beaked dolphins which included a juvenile. We followed the dolphins for a while which gave customers plenty of time to get some great photos of them splashing and travelling around in the bay. We then travelled out further and saw a minke whale! It surfaced on numerous occasions allowing us a chance to have a closer look before it dived deep down under the surface again. A few spotted a humpback whale in the distance but it turned out to be pretty elusive only giving us a brief glimpse of its stumpy dorsal fin. The sail on the way back was smooth and the scenery was very picturesque with glorious views of Esja.

Report from Eldey: The weather today started out fairly misty with a light rain shower. The main issue on the boat today was the swell which the passengers were warned about before we set off on our journey and complimentary seasickness tablets were given out. We saw a minke whale who turned out to be "Resight Guy" who we last saw on the 10th April and was nice to see for a second time this year. We saw another minke whale later on on our tour and passengers managed to get some photos. We were lucky enough to see some white-beaked dolphins towards the end of our tour who played around the boat and wouldn´t let us leave!! By the end of the journey people were feeling much better.

Status: RUNNING
We are sailing out from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik on a very cloudy day. There is not much wind today but because of western winds for the past days there will be swells and movement on the boat.
