Report from Eldey: it was a rather tough decision whether to go out tonight for not as the clouds started to roll in but if there is a chance we have to try. It was very cloudy at the start of the trip but we kept optimistic and patient whilst listening to some nice tunes on the sound system. It was at about 23:30 we saw our first signs of northern light, faint line with the naked eye but the camera picked it out quite nicely. By 00:00 a lot of the cloud dispersed and you could see the stars and the northern lights. A very nice eveing to be out watching them
