Status: RUNNING

We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik today. There is some rain and a little wind as well so there could be some movement on the boat out on Faxabay. If you are sensitive to motion sickness we offer preventative tablets in the ticket office.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Háfsulan: Entering in our winter schedule, we will from now operate one tour a day at 13:00 ! This was not the only thing that made this trip a bit special, starting from today we will also be using for a while one of the most loved boat from our fleet: the unique, awesome and splendid Háfsulan, Queen of all of the boats ! Needless to say, the crew was in high spirits for this tour. Also, considering that we are in winter, we got surprisingly pleasant sea conditions. Small waves, relatively weak winds and warm temperature were promising easy spotting and an enjoyable sailing. We could have been tempted by a nap with this relaxed sea, if not for a light rain coming sporadically but regularly, to keep us alert. Despite having all the chances on our side, the bay did not provide any sightings today, except few sea birds hanging around. Disappointed but not broken, we offered complimentary tickets to our guests on board, and we will warmly welcome back any tenacious passengers trying again their luck !
