We are sailing from the Old Harbor in Reykjavik today. There will be movement on the boat due to swells out on Faxabay
Tour at 13:00
Report from Eldey: It was fairly mild as we sailed out into Faxafloi, the sea was fairly calm despite the forecast which made the spotting conditions more ideal. It took us a long time to search for the animals today and the wind did start picking up as the tour wore on, making everyone outside slightly chilled. On sailing out into the bay the most wonderful full rainbow appeared, it had numerous beautiful colours and you could even see it from start to end. Unfortunately, we were unable to spot any animals so we offered our passengers complimentary tickets so they can come back and hopefully see some of our fantastic Icelandic wildlife.

Birds seen on todays tour: northern fulmar, northern gannet, kittiwake, glacous gull, icelandic gull, lesser black-backed gull, cormorant, common guillemot and eider duck.
