Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: The weather outside was not at it´s best but the sea had calmed down enough to venture out into Faxaflói, the only thing that effected a few of our passengers was the swell which was mainly felt during the first half of the tour but not so much when heading with it at the end. We searched a vast area to some of our favourite spots but unfortunately no cetaceans today. We did however see a seal very far offshore, most likely a harbour seal but it was very difficult to know as it only surfaced twice before disappearing. We offered our passengers complimentary tickets in the hope they will return with better luck next time. These tickets are good for two years.

Birds seen on tours tour included: Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Northern Gannet, Eider Ducks, Shags, Glaucous Gulls, Razorbills, Guillemots, Lesser black-backed Gulls.
