Tour at 13.00

Report from Hafsúlan: The afternoon was better than this morning, if that was possible. We saw more wildlife and the weather get calmer too. We saw at  least 4-5 Minke Whales close and in the distance, we even saw Humpie the Minke Whale, whale we have seen since 2011. The first White-beaked Dolphins (2-3 animals) we saw were playful, travelling under and around the boat. The next were breaching in the suns glare which was beautiful. Harbour Porpoises were surfacing all around us at one point, at least 20 animals in 3-4 small pods. It was an incredible day. Hope it continues.

Tour at 09:00

Report from Hafsúlan: We sailed out in the most beautiful weather you could imagine. Blue skies, low lying sun and perfect sea conditions. That in itself should be enough but there was also a lot of wildlife. We saw three species of cetacean this morning, Minke Whales (3-4 animals), White-beaked Dolphins (two pods, 1 with 3 animals and just one in the other) and a pod of Harbour Porpoises (5-8 animals). The first White-beaked Dolphin was the best as it surfaced under and around the boat for a while, looking up at the smiling passengers. It was a wonderful morning and we hope this afternoon will be the same if not better.
