Tour at 17:00 Report from Eldey: The weather was slightly worse than before. A combination of more wind and more rain made the sailing through the bay less comfortable. For almost 2 hours we sailed without seeing anything but a really elusive minke whale that only surfaced once. We were already heading back when we encountered a second minke whale and this time we got to see the individual surfacing for quite a few times. Nonetheless all the crew understood that it could have been a little better for our passengers and thus we offered them complimentary tickets that everybody will be able to use within the next two years. Let's hope for a luckier next one!

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: Our afternoon trip was promising because of the weather: light breeze and overcast sky are the best for a whale watching trip. Once we arrived to one of our main spotting areas we discovered a minke whale surfacing close to us, but it was quite elusive and difficult to see. Nonetheless, we kept going trying to find more species and we did, we found a nice pod of white-beaked dolphins but they were elusive too and they didn't stay around us for so long. Due to the lack of good moments with our beloved animals, we decided to give a complimentary ticket to our passenger so everybody can enjoy a second chance with us.

Tour at 9:00

Report from Eldey: We sailed out in this beautiful Sunday morning, with flat seas and less than 4 m/s of wind speed, which made this tour a smooth and nice sailing. We sailed out for a bit but luckily we saw some northern Gannets far away. I always believe in those birds as in our "best allies" out in the sea. They are usually marking us the point were we can find some cetaceans. And that's exactly what happened today! As soon as we approached we enjoyed a pod of 4-5 white beaked dolphins swimming underneath the boat and playing in our bow! Amazing! And quite soon we were interrupted for a few minke whales (3-4 overall) that were feeding on the surrounding areas. It was an incredible experience, and one of these minke whales was starting to get closer and  closer to our boat until the animal surfaced closer than 30 meters away from us! So nice to be out in the sea today!
