Tour at 17:00

Report from Eldey: While the wind was very strong. waves were surprisingly low. It was not rough at all, only the rain coming and going made it a bit uncomfortable. We left from Hafnarfjörður and went towards Akraness firstly, from there we turned towards Reykjavík. Conditions for spotting were quite good, unfortunately still we had no encounters during our tour. Thus any passenger that wanted was given a complimentary ticket to come out on another tour with us with some cetaceans around to show them.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: We started sailing at 14:00 when our passengers where boarded on boat in Keflavik. We continued running tours in a shelter of Reykjaness instead of going from Reykjavik and sailing through the middle of very windy bay today. Sky was overcast, we had poor visibility but sea was more less flat so we still had nice spotting conditions. In the middle of the tour we encountered a pod of 10 harbour porpoises. It was surprising to see many of this animals. But unluckily, like always, porpoises disappeared very fast. Unfortunately we didn´t see anything else during rest of the tour. We offered complimentary tickets to all of our passengers.

Tour at 09:00

Report from Eldey: We set sail from Keflavik today just after 10:00 and were greeted with a bit of swell and some lovely strong winds, which luckily were not to cold and blowing from our backs making sailing a delight,. It was very tricky to spot the whales today and unfortunately no cetaceans were spotted. Due to this complimentary tickets were handed out so that our passenger are able to come back on another one of our tours and hopefully see some of the wonderful wildlife Iceland has to offer!
