Report from Eldey: Finally we had a chance to enjoy sun today! Most of the tour we were sailing under warm light of setting sun. It made landscape looks amazing! Luckily, we were going close to the shore to have some protection from the cold wind. Sea state and wind speed was much nicer then on previous tours so none suffered from sea sickness. We sailed much further then normally, checking new areas but unfortunately we didn´t found any cetaceans. Despite lack of sightings we enjoyed this escape from the rain and bad weather on land as dark clouds were present over Reykjavik. We hope to see our passengers again as we offered them complimentary tickets.

Report from Eldey: The weather was implacable this afternoon but it didn't tear apart our Viking spirit. The rain's drop were like needles nailing our faces and the strong wind was howling fiercely but we didn't hesitate in our purpose: to find cetaceans. We scanned Faxafloi and suddenly, from no where 3 white-beaked dolphins popped up in front of us, they were very sneaky and challenging to follow and we had few scattered encounters with them. For that reason, we offered to our passengers a complementary tickets so everybody can enjoy a second chance with us.

Report from Eldey: It was a bit windy and rainy on our tour today but that didn't mean the cetaceans weren't out to play. Just 15 minutes out of the harbour we were watching the beautiful harbour porpoises pop up and out of the waters surface. It took us sometime to find out next cetacean so in the mean time we watched the wonderful gannets twirling through the sky. We then heard news that there was a minke whale in the area so we went over to check it out. And not only did we see its black back and dorsal fin as usual, we saw the whole thing! This is because it BREACHED and jumped clearly out of the water! It then did it again, and again and guess what again! Multiple times this amazing animal decided to jump right out of the water! Its so incredibly rare to see this behaviour especially from this species. What a fantastic end to a wet and windy tour!
