Report from Eldey: Wind died down compared to this morning, but to our surprise the swell increased. But fortunately the wind direction was in our favor, most of the time we were in the same direction than the waves. The shakings, although quite ample, were kept to a minimum. It didn't take long before we found a pod of 4-6 white-beaked dolphins. At first they were a bit cautious, but by staying patient and vigilant we secured closed looks before they vanished. After that followed a long and fruitless research for other cetaceans, that still was made brighter by some northern gannets and common guillemots, alongside a beautiful rainbow and splendid lights toward Keflavik. Because we deemed the encounter with the dolphins was too short, we offered our passengers complimentary tickets to have another try.
