Report from Elding: In the afternoon, the wind was blowing very strong and the sky was overcast, but a small group of brave sailors went out hoping to find some whales. We went towards where a group of dolphins was seen earlier in the day and just a few days before even a large Sei whale was spotted. Also, we were looking for shelter from the rough winds in that area, which is protected by land. We tried hard and scanned the area over and over again, but sadly we were not able to find any whales in the rough seas. Also, there were not many birds in the bay, which made this tour a bit disappointing in terms of sightings. However, this is wild nature and we have no control over it, so all we could do is accept what nature gives or not gives us. Also, we gave out complementary tickets to our passengers, giving them the chance to come back on another tour within the next two years, with hopefully some more luck next time.

Report from Elding: It was a windy morning in Faxa Bay when we headed out in search for whales and dolphin. It took us quite a while before we spotted a pod of White Beaked Dolphins. These animals were a bit elusive, we got a few good looks at them before they disappeared. The bay seemed to be quite abandoned as only a few sea birds were flying around but not actively feeding. Even though we scanned a large area we were not able to find any other animals in the area. We gave our passengers complimentary tickets valid for 2 years so they could come on another whale watching tour with us for free.
