Report from Eldey: On this tour we were pleased by a very mild night. There was no wind and the sea was almost as calm as a mirror. Unfortunately, we only got to see the stars and the light stream of the Imagine Peace Tower but no northern lights. Although we were surprised by some Harbor
Porpoises (very small cetaceans) surfacing in front of our vessel in the middle of our tour we were a little disappointed to not be able to see the polar lights in this beautiful night. Thus, we handed out complimentary tickets to our passengers to give them the opportunity to try again on another day.
