Report from Eldey: Incredibly clear sky this evening, with not one cloud in the sky. We journeyed out to our regular spot beside Esja where the sky is darkest and waited patiently. The bright beam of light ascending towards the sky of the Imagine Peace Tower along with the stars and their many constellations were clearly visible all evening but sadly, the northern lights were not. Complimentary tickets were therefore awarded.
