Report from Eldey: What a tour! It was a long time since we didn't get such a show! We were pretty optimistic from the beginning, having already seen northern lights from the down town of Reykjavik half an hour before departure. The cloud cover was pretty thick when we left the harbour, but fortunately for us, al arge hole opened quickly, and soon enough we got our first signs of activity. At first it was not much, but enough to provide opportunity to set our camera right and train a little bit. Then the lights started to get more vivid and bright, shrugged weakly before finally dancing like there's no tomorrow! We got to see it clear and sharp, and saw the lights turning from green to yellow, with notes of pink and purple! After going on for a while, they weakened a bit, before getting stronger again. Everyone on board had a blast, and got good conditions for photography, if not for the moon that was insanely bright. Northern lights with full moon, what a sight to behold!
