Report from Eldey: A wonderfully clear evening in Reykjavik, with not a cloud in the sky. We left the harbour, sailing on the smoothest sea towards the darkest sky, full of optimism. A very feint beam of light was seen above Esja for most of the evening, but was very difficult to observe with the naked eye. Unfortunately no other lights were seen during the tour and complimentary tickets were handed out.
