Status: RUNNING

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: We were expecting a rocky ride with waves coming from the West, but what we didn't specially expect was the majestic sun we got all along the tour! So, it was a bit shaky, but beautiful, and with the warmest temperatures we had for all January! The cruise was enjoyable, and it was spent with the company of a bit of bird life, including the grumpy looking fulmars and the cormorants. No cetaceans were sighted though... We could offer a nice boat right, but no whale watching so we issued complimentary tickets to our passengers.

- Guillaume Calcagni

Bird species seen on today's tour include: european shag, great cormorant, black guillemot, northern fulmar, glaucous gull, eider duck & common guillemot

We are sailing out from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik today. There will be some movement in the sea today, so if you are sensitive to sea sickness we do provide tablets for motion sickness both at our ticket office and on board. On board there are heated indoor areas but we also have overalls to keep you warm out on deck. We hope you will be able to join us today!
