Tour at 9:00 & 13:00 : RUNNING

Tour at 13:00 Report from Eldey: It´s the week of the dolphin! Similar to the last 3 tours, we found over 30 white-beaked dolphins divided in 3-4 pods feeding like there's no tomorrow around the same area! Once again it was a delight to be surrounded by cetaceans in a feeding frenzy. Even if the weather was colder and grayer than yesterday, we did not mind too much thanks to the adorable calves and juveniles we could spot today. Icing on the cake is that we could recognize an old friend of us among the dolphins, none other than Sindri! We navigated from one pod to the other, while being cautious about not disturbing their feeding behaviour, for over an hour, before we eventually went home with a smile on our face.

Tour at 09:00

Report from Eldey: The sea was smooth and spotting conditions were once again ideal as today the sun was not shining quite so bright. We sailed for over an hour with the light but very cold wind blowing in our face before we encountered our first sighting. A pod of 5-6 white-beaked dolphins were seen feeding below a group of birds mainly composed of kittiwakes. The pod disappearred very quickly after discovery. After 15 minutes of searching again the dolphins were re-found. This time they were much easier to view, approaching the boat and wowing the passengers. We stayed with the dolphins for some time before we had to depart for Reykjavik.
