Tour at 9:00 and 13:00: RUNNING
Tour at 13:00
Report from Eldey: The weather and sea conditions were good as on the morning tour, the sky opened a little and the sun reminded us of the beginning spring. We sailed with the wind on our back towards the area where we had sightings this morning. Quite quickly we spotted some white-beaked dolphins indulging in a real feeding frenzy, clearly overwhelmed by the amount of prey in the area. More and more dolphins joined in until we where surrounded by 20-30 dolphins, all trying to get their share. As the sea was so calm, we could take real good pictures and make the individuals easily out being under the water surface. Continuing our journey we found more dolphins, this time jumping and breaching out of the water. Again we must have seen at least 10 dolphins, some following us for quite some time as we had to sail back with lots of beautiful memories on camera and in our mind.

Report from Eldey: As yesterday, the sky was covered with dark clouds and the sea was gray, nevertheless we left the harbor in high spirits and a good mood. We headed out to our best sighting area just 30-40 minutes from the harbour and there they where, white-beaked dolphins! They did not disappoint by leaping and jumping out of the water, some even coming in for a bowride. Several pods of dolphins, 15-20 individuals, where feeding between the fishing boats. After some time we decided to leave them and continue our trip. Cruising around for a bit we spotted another group of about 10-15 dolphins including a calf, spread in a wider area, some coming in for a real close up. After wonderful displays of agility and speed, jumping and bow-riding, we parted our ways with a big smile on our faces.
