Report from Eldey: With lots of smiling faces on the boat we started our tour and it didn't even matter that the clouds were completely covering the sky. After 1 hour of sailing we spotted our first marine mammal of the tour. It was a minke whale, traveling fairly close to the boat. Soon after we were surrounded with them. 4-5 whales were surfacing in all directions around the boat. We also saw a calf swimming next to it's mother. Together with the hundreds of birds flying around and the minkes coming close to the boat, it was an incredible tour and a real example of the beauty of nature.

Report from Eldey: Our morning tour started with great excitement. Previous days have been full of sightings and today wasn't less! We went to one of our main spotting areas and we saw a huge blow in the distance. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the elusive whale and we carried on. It was a good choice because we found a huge flock of birds and when we got closer we started to see a lot of cetaceans. Firstly, a minke whale crossed our path and in total we spotted 5-6 of them. They were feeding close to the surface and we could see some juveniles among them. In the middle of the crazy-minke moment, other species popped up such as a small pod of 3 harbour porpoises and 3 white-beaked dolphins. It was a great tour with wonderful views from the bay.
