Report from Eldey: A beautiful evening to be out at night on the calm ocean. Still a little too bright at the start of the tour but after about 30mins we could start to see the first signs of northern lights, streaks of green to the north. It soon got stronger and easily seen with the naked eye, it danced also. The strength reduced a little after a while and even though the green could be made out for the majority of the tour it was harder to see. There was a little rain tonight, fine rain and also snow.....I know....snow. We now know that the summer is definitely over, well the little summer we had. We finished our tour with a nice cruise along the shore back to port. A great first northern lights cruise of the season.
