Report from Eldey:With the wind speed and sea state decreased considerably we sailed out again, ready for a good weekend. We sailed for a good hour into the middle of the bay. The passengers were very cooperative and attentive, so it was nice to see the excited reactions to some splashes we saw at our 11 o' clock. The splashes were produced by a pod of 6-10 of our friendly neighborhood white-beaked dolphins. They checked us out a couple of times, coming very close to the haul of the boat, so that we had to look into the sea below us to spot them. We encountered several smaller pods, or parts of the bigger pod in the greater bay area. At some point we saw 2-3 harbour porpoises, so a lot of people managed to see the elusive animal I was talking about at the begnning of the tour when I was the only one who saw it. All in all a lovely tour with some nice memories we made.

Report from Eldey: We were lucky today with the weather, as the sun just came out before our tour started and there was only light rain, from time to time. Winds were still strong though, but we only had to face them on the way back. While sailing out into the bay for some time, we were suddenly surprised by 2 pods of white-beaked dolphins, in total about 6-8 individuals, surfacing right next to our boat. We lost them for a while, but soon found them again. The dolphins came up close to the boat and were riding the waves, going for a dive just beneath us! It was great seeing them so close, however, they kept disappearing for longer periods. Later on we also found another pod of 3-4 white-beaked dolphins, doing some jumping and disappearing again. It was still another loveley encounter with these amazing animals.
