Tour at 13:00
Report from Eldey: The wonders of the whales took us today to a different harbour, in this case from Hafnarfjördur. Our attempt to avoid the long swell in the bay was quite successful as we sailed along the south-east part of Faxafloi, exploring its cliff-chains and the incredible birdlife that we can find in Iceland during winter time. After a while, when pessimism was invading our souls, we saw a blow in the horizon and there it was, an incredible playful humpback whale. It delighted us with fantastic tricks as we saw it breaching more than 10 times with majesty. The way back was a pleasure as we surfed the waves. What a pleasure to be out there today!
