Report from Eldey: What a day, the weather was definitely on the miserable side with fog, rain and a little wind but Mr humpback whale was Awesome! We found Mr Humpback deep within Kollafjörður, a fjord close to Reykjavik near to the Islands of þerney, Lundey and Viðey. We enjoyed immensly the surface feeding behaviours, lunge feeding and rolling with the birds clustering above. We watched the whale feed for the next hour and a half and then left it in peace to enjoy the rest of the day in peace. We also occasionally saw the heads popping up of two harbour seals checking us put and being curious. The day was just amazing.
