Report from Eldey: Glorious day out in the sea, there is no a better way to describe it. Sea-state was completely flat, almost no wind (just a small breeze in the middle of the tour) and plenty of sun! The guide was still with his "hello" speech when we spot the first group of cetaceans, a small pod of 2-3 harbour porpoises cruising around Viðey and not long after our beloved humpback whale located in Kollafjörður showed up. It seemed that today was in rush as it was sailing at 4-5 knots/sec but we witnessed feeding behaviour as it was making circles around the same area and a huge tail-slapping that caught us all by surprise. After a while, we decided to sail further to take a look at the bay to realize how beautiful the snowy mountains around Reykjavik looked like with the white blanket. A delicious tour for all senses.
