Report from Eldey: As Friday morning so was this afternoon, beautiful with sunshine all the way, calm sea and only a light breeze from the North. In the waters of Faxafloi, we did encounter a total of 4 smaller pods of white-beaked dolphins. The earlier two pods consisted of 5-10 adult individuals, travelling and socializing. The later two pods were of slightly smaller sizes and we did spot a few juveniles amongst them. Towards the end of this tour, we did find a minke whale, which showed a frequence of 2 surfacings before going on a longer dive for 3-5 minutes, which made it beautiful to watch. Overall it was a fantastic and eventful afternoon to be out in the bay, with a relaxing sail back into harbour, enjoying the beautiful scenery around us.

Report from Eldey: We are expecting to have beautiful weekend and Friday morning was a nice start for that. Sun was shining, sea was calm and our suits were keeping us protected from cold breeze. Bay was full of life with multiple flocks of birds while our fish-finder was showing schools of fish beneath surface. It was difficult to choose right direction to sail but at the end we think that we made right decision. On Northern part of Faxafloi we found many small pod of white-beaked dolphins, mostly with 4-5 individuals. We were moving from one group to another, watching them hunting or socializing. Apparently there was also a minke whale in area but we didn't find it, instead we spot single harbour porpoise and a seal. Dolphinetely nice start for the weekend.
