Report from Eldey: We kept going with our luckiest weekend in months! Again flats seas, sun shining and a light breeze to refresh our sailor spirit. We return to the area where we had found a lot of activity and it was the right decision. We encountered a humpback whale, going for short dives to feed (sea floor was full of fish!). Once we carried on towards Akraness, we spotted a nice pod of white-beaked dolphins with 6-8 individuals and 3-4 of them were calves, it was quite a beautiful scene to witness the little ones trying to follow mommies. If that wasn't enough, a pod of 3-4 harbour porpoises surfaced close to us and we spotted in the distance a second humpback whale, what a day!

Report from Eldey: Another day with beautiful weather in Reykjavik, sun is shining and sea is flat. As we could feel spring in the air we decided to start our trip with short visit to island Engey where we found some puffins sitting on the water close to rocky shore. Then we were heading towards area where we found humpback whale last afternoon. After one hour we saw a blow in distance and as we were approaching that sighting our passengers were pointing dorsal fins on our right. We felt confused what is happening but suddenly a humpback whale came to the surface just in front of us! Whale went for a dive showing his tail and 8 min later was back again. It was already great but those mysterious dorsal fins were still in our mind and when we turned around we saw pod of orcas! Around 6-8 of them was enjoying this sunny day, swimming close to the surface, slapping their tails or even swimming on the side flashing us with their white bellies. What an incredible day!
