Report from Eldey: A brisk and chilly wind greeted us as soon as we began sailing. Luckily, also the wonderful winter sun that we have this time of year shined just above the horizon. Waves were covered with white-caps, which can make spotting more tricky, but there was also many active birds all throughout the bay, meaning there must have been quite some food for them to feed on. We kept our eyes sharp around these areas. Despite our best efforts however, the whales were not found today. For this reason a complimetary ticket was issued to everyone willing to try their luck once more with Elding!

Birds seen today: black-backed gull, black-headed gull, glaucus gull.
