Tour at 13:00 Report from Hafsúlan: we sailed to the same area as the morning and once again found Harbour Porpoises everywhere (20-30 scattered animals in total) on the way. We had two Minke Whales on this tour and the second one surfaced no more than 20 meters from the boat, you could see the white bands on the pectoral fins and the two gblow holes that baleen whales have on top of their heads. All in all an incredible day.

Tour at 09:00 Report from Hafsúlan: we sailed out into Faxaflói Bay today on mirror calm seas and the sun on our backs. We sailed for not more than 45 minutes before we found ourselves amongst the wildlife with birds, Harbour Porpoises and Minke Whales. We must have counted 30-40 Porpoises and 5-6 Minke Whales in total throughout the tour. The bay was teaming with life this morning. We were so lucky not only with the wildlife but with the bueatiful weather also.

Birds seen on today´s tour included; Common Guillemots, Razorbills, Kittiwakes, Fulmars, Eider Ducks, Cormorants, Greylag Geese, Glaucous Gulls and Black-backed Gulls.
