Report from Eldey: The night started with heavy clouds above us. But we know that the weather in Iceland can change quickly and according to the forecast the skies was gonna clear up so we headed with hopes to find the northern lights. With a lot of patients and hot chocolate the clouds disappeared and we got a nice clear sky and shortly enough the northern lights started to appear. First in our camera but soon we could also se a faint arch starting above Mt Esja. Now we just had to be a little bit more patient to see if the lights would get stronger and give us a show tonight. They were teasing us for the rest of the tour and tonight was not the night.. Even though the lights were there and we could see them faint in the skies we choose to offer everyone on the boat a complementary ticket to come with us again for free within two years because we want to give our passengers a chance to see the northern lights as strong and beautiful as we know they can be.
