Report from Eldey and Hafsulan: Another day with many passengers and so we naturally decided to use two boats to ensure everyone enough indoor as well as outdoor space. Eventhough it was a cold day with chilly northerly winds, we were armed with our overalls and had sun shining on our faces the entire 3 hours. As we were two boats, we decided to take different paths - Eldey going towards the West, Hafsulan scanning the East. Where Eldey spotted quite the variety of birds, Hafsulan was lucky to have at least 5 harbour seals coming to say hello. Also a quick harbour porpoise crossed our ways. Unfortunately despite covering nearly all the bay, it seems like all whales and dolphins are just further out and beyond our searching area. This can change within just a few hours time, as we know, and we want to prove this to our passengers. For that, they were given complimentary tickets to return once more on another trip with us in Reykjavik or Akureyri.

Birds seen on today's tours: cormorant, shag, kittiwake, common guillemot, black-headed gull, eider duck.
