Report from Eldey: What a star filled sky we had tonight. Absolutely lovely clear skies and, as soon as we sailed out, a green arch just above Mt Esja. It was a faint arch, but visible for the naked eye for a good first 15 minutes of our tour. Sadly, they soon began fading and dissappeared out of the sky and even out of our cameras. But with such a clear sky and promising forecast, we remained stubborn and optimistic for them to brighten up later on in the evening. Using all the time of our tour, we waited patiently, warming up with addictively good hot chocolate inbetween, but remained without more of the lights showing. While we are happy we at least could have our passengers experience some light activity, we definitely wish to show them better. So complimentary tickets were handed out and with these everyone is eligible for a free return northern lights tour in the coming two years.
