✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00

Report from Eldey: As recent days we are experiencing low numbers of tourists, to reduce pollution, we joined forces with Special Tours and we took everyone for a ride on the same boat. Icelandic weather did not acknowledge that yesterday we celebrated first day of spring in northern hemisphere. Instead, our passengers experienced all 4 seasons changing through the course of the tour: sun, wind and snow blizzard. The ride was tempered with some swell but our passengers proved to be up to the challenge, just like proper sailor man. We took a route by fishing grounds where we could enjoy company of small boats working hard despite challenging conditions. It's good to see that somewhere life is still going on with same old rhythm. Being on the sea always bring some relieve and disconnection from problems we are facing on land. Unfortunately, despite our hopes, during our cruise we didn't manage to meet any whales or dolphins to light up our souls. We offered to our passengers complimentary tickets for another whale watching tour valid next couple of years. Some days it might be hard to understand ways the nature works, but sooner or later, spring will take over and we will have good sightings again.
