✔ CLASSIC TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00
Report from Elding: We had a beautiful sunshine during this afternoon tour balancing with the cold wind. We happily sailed on the bay looking for whales. We had a first stop near a few flocks of birds but we could not find any cetacean. We continue quite far in the bay but nothing was happening. We came a bit closer from the coast in the south of the bay and it is after 2 hours of our tour than we finally saw the blow made by a humpback whale. We approach to see the animal really relaxed, surfacing many times. The animal was not doing any fluke dive so maybe it was just feeding near the surface or relaxing it is hard to know. It finally showed us its fluke with a nice fluke dive. It came back and we could see it staying at the surface, the white pectoral fin was visible through the water from the boat. The humpback whale did a cool manoeuvering 120° turn just near the bow of the boat. We saw it surfacing a few more time before we had to go back to the harbour.
