Today the sea conditions are rough. To help with the rough seas, complimentary Sea Sickness tablets are always available from the ticket office before the tour. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land. Report from Eldey: We went out in pretty bad conditions, the swell was high and the wind was very strong. When we got further out in the bay, it was even harsher, and worse than the forecast had said. We travelled to the south areas of Faxaflói bay to seek some shelter from the wind, but were unsuccessful there. Therefore, we took a turn up north and then headed back, but unfortunately did not manage to find anything there either. The highlight of the tour was an atlantic puffin that, for some reason, had not left the breeding stations, and was very nice to see. No signs of whales were spotted so in the end we gave passengers, who were very positive and understanding, complimentary tickets for another tour.

Bird Species ID´d today: Northern Gannet, Atlantic Puffin, Northern Fulmar, Kittiwake, Eider Duck, Great-black backed gull, Lesser black-backed gull, Herring gull, Great Cormorant.
