NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE I 21:00
Report from Eldey: The night began with a clouded sky. There was a little rain. The sea was very calm, no wind, quite warm, pleasant night. The aurora forecast indicated 3/9 which were moderate possibilities to see the northern lights. Also today there was a ceremony at Videy for the anniversary of John Lennon's, that is why when we started the tour we sailed around the Imagine Peace Tower with the wish of John Lennon and Yoko Ono that the peace spreads around the world. We played John Lennon's song Imagine. After 10 p.m. the little aurora borealis appeared over Akranes, which was starting to get stronger. We could watch it all the way back to the port. Passengers were very pleased with the trip, it was a very romantic night with background music. A night to remember.
