Report from Eldey: With an aurora forecast of 2/9 and clear skies we left the harbour with the sky as if it was a leaky shoe box, with bright stars that augured a trip in space-time that would take us along two hours of authentic cosmic energy. Like an old television, the deep grayish night was transformed into a futuristic full HD television full of colors, and together with the surround sound music that our captain played, we entered into an unforgettable evening expedition that our memory will allow us to relive, and some photographs too. The northern lights shone like dawn in the middle of the night, a contradiction that Greek poets already thanked the darkness of night. Green, pinkish and even bluish tones permeated our perception and put our abilities of wonder to test. Only when we saw them did we understand why they are called lights. An extremely special night.
