Report from Eldey: With a kp of 4 out of 9, we were hopeful to see northern lights tonight. The forecast about the clouds kept changing, but you never know what to expect with Icelandic weather so we wanted to take our chances to find clear skies and auroras tonight. Unfortunately the clouds were more prominent than we hoped for. We were therefore unable to see any stars or northern lights. Disappointed, we did our best to search for any green lights until the very end of our trip but the clouds did not clear up. We still really enjoyed the evening - the night was not cold, we were equipped with northern light punches, and the atmosphere with all the passengers was very pleasant. Still, our aim tonight was to find auroras so we invited all our passengers to try our luck during another northern lights cruise by giving them a complimentary ticket.
