Report from Eldey: Although the forecast predicted clear skies tonight, there were lots of clouds above us. We could see some stars and even some constellations, but the clouds were really a shame, because with a kp-index of 3/9 we thought we would see the auroras tonight. Iceland´s weather is however always unpredictable, and when it is cloudy like it was tonight it becomes difficult to spot the northern lights. We therefore offered our passengers complimentary tickets so that they have the chance to try this again, on a more fruitful journey.
