Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tour. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

Report from Eldey: It was nice to get one more sail in to go and search for faxaflói´s marine life before stronger winds kept us in the harbour. This January has been a difficult year with the weather and we have had to cancel many of our tours unfortunately. Today we were able to sail and despite the rainy conditions it was a relatively warm day for January and a lot of passengers stayed outside and braised the Icelandic weather. We enjoyed the fulmars and gannets gliding past, the common guillemots and razorbills plopping beneath the surface, flocks of European shags taking off once we got too close. Alas no whales or dolphins though we are sad to report so we offered our passengers complimentary tickets in the hope they will have more luck on their next sail.
