Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tour. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: "Viking Level 1: archievement unlocked". That's the best way to describe our experience today. We faced tricky swell and snowfall during the whole trip. However, we had serious candidates to become Vikings as our passengers resisted the entire trip in the upper deck. On our search today we got to see 3 shy harbor porpoises, only few passengers saw these speedy little guys. It was the white-beaked dolphins that intrigued us all, two pods of 4-5 individuals each. The first pod was too far away and suddenly dissapeared. The second one surfaced very close to the boat, less than 100 meters. They were traveling slowly. We briefly enjoyed their presence as they seemed to be a bit shy today. Whales and dolphins have different moods and perform different activities, sometimes it is easier to spot them than others. They can be quite conspicuous. However, as this trip does not represent the experience our company is able to provide, we gave all our passengers a complimentary ticket, an opportunity to join on another tour for free. Hope to see them all again next time.
